Knitting is a art in which loops of yarn are interlocked with the assistance of needles and creates any designs of your dreams. Knitting is more than just a hobby - it is therapy and stress relief. History of knitting goes into ancient days. Stockings are the most ancient (1000-1500 BC) knitted artifact known to historians. It has been found in Egypt. The basic material for knitting is yarn. In the production of yarn both natural and synthetic fibers can be used. Very often the yarn consists of a mixture of natural and synthetic fibers. In such situations composition and percentage of fibers is indicated on the label.

Natural fibers
