A pattern from ringlets

You will need a foundation cord and 4 working cords such as: two 40” long and two 32” long.

Fold working cords in half and attach them to the foundation cord with a purl stitch in a way so that long cords are on edges and short cords are in the centre. One side of the cord must be 20”, the other one 12”; those cords which are 12” long must be situated in the centre.

Mentally mark all cords from the left to the right with numbers from 1 to 8.

All the three knots are weaved one under another.

Step 4. Leave ½” space and again mentally mark the cords from the left to the right from 1 to 8. Then repeat the first three steps.

Step 5. It is necessary to tighten all the knots and move the second group of knots closer to the first one. Now we have ringlets from cords which we were taking aside earlier.

Step 6. Continue repeating steps 1-5 till you get the necessary length of the garment.
