Step 4. Reach the ribbon edge, make a turn along the ribbon, make one stitch.
Step 5. Make another turn 90 degrees and continue the baste seam down towards the ribbon’s edge.
Step 6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for the next ribbon marks.
Step 7. Draw the thread up. We’ve got a wonderful flower.
Step 8. Smooth the flower out and sew the ribbons edges together. You can sew a few beads in the core of the flower.

Ribbon flower embroidery Roses at the net template
We will need a ribbon, approximately 12 inches long, thick threads of the same color as the ribbon, a needle and a chenille needle for ribbon embroidery.
Step 1. Mark a circle equivalent in diameter to the size of future rose on the fabric. Mark the center on the circle and 5 points along the edge at an equal distance from each other.
Step 2. From the centre to every one of the 5 points sew the stitches with thick threads. We’ve got the net template, on which we are going to weave a flower.
Step 3. Fix the ribbon on the back side and pull it to the face side of the work very close to the central point of the circle.
Step 4. Weaving the rose. Run the ribbon over the stitch on the net and then under it. Move counterclockwise. In the beginning of weaving, tighten the ribbon firmly to convey relief to the core and hide net-template threads under it.
Step 5. Continue weaving rose petals. In the process of weaving, twist the ribbon to get three-dimensional petals. You may make a rose with ribbons of 2 colors. Use a darker color in the middle.
For this purpose, after making a few turns, pull the ribbon to the rear side and fix it with threads. Take a ribbon of another color, fix it on the back side with threads and pull it to the face side. Further continue to weave, twisting the ribbon to the circle’s borders.
Step 6. Fix the last outer rose petals on the fabric with threads carefully.
